Armenia to receive 1 million doses of Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine![]() April 14, 2021 - 19:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has reached an agreement for 1 million doses of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said on Wednesday, April 14. According to Avanesyan, the country might be able to vaccinate 20% of the population by the end of the year. The Armenian health ministry approved the Russian vaccine for domestic use on February 1. As reported earlier, the country will use AstraZeneca vaccine to inoculate people aged above 55, while folks under that age will get Sputnik-V shots. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
