  Serzh Sarsgyan: Iran is Armenia's good and reliable neighborMarch 13, 2009 - 22:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sarsgyan met Friday with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki to discuss bilateral cooperation and exchange views on the situation in the Caucasus. "Iran is Armenia's good neighbor and reliable partner," President Sargsyan said. For his part, Mr. Mottaki said that the impending visit of the Iranian President to Armenia will open a new chapter in relations between these two countries. The two men also referred to implementation of joint projects, specifically construction of Armenia-Iran railroad.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
