So far, voter turnout appears to be higher than during the 2018 elections but lower that those held in 2017. In Yerevan, the Armenian capital, 13,9% of voters have gone to the polls as of 11:00 am. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
