Armenian army loses contact with two soldier

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian army has lost contact with two soldiers since Wednesday, July 14 morning, the Defense Ministry reports.

Serviceman Artur Nalbandyan and driver Aramayis Torozyan went missing in the morning of July 14, and the search mission has not yealded results yet. The two are not carrying weapons.

With the mediation of Russian side, the Armenian Armed Forces are discussing with Azerbaijani army representatives whether the troops might have wandered to territories under Baku's control.

Also Wednesday, an Armenian serviceman was killed in Azerbaijan's fire from across the border. The incident happened in the morning of July 14 when the Azerbaijani units of Nakhijevan attempted to advance and carry out engineering work with the use of heavy machinery.
