Top French, American diplomats discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan peace

PanARMENIAN.Net - French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian and U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken have discussed the situation in South Caucasus, according to a press release from the French side.

"I talked about our joint action as co-chairs of the Minsk Group to help achieve lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan," the French Foreign Ministry cited Le Drian say saying.

The top French and American diplomats met in Washington, DC on July 14 to discuss a host of issues, including the relationship between the two countries, the Covid-19 pandemic, dialogue with Russia, among other things.
