Covid-19: Armenia infections grew by 559 in the past day

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 559 to reach 236,234 on Thursday, August 19 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 216 more people recovered, eleven patients died from Covid-19, while two others carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 7514 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 223,443 people have recovered, 4727 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1141 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
