Covid-19: Armenia infections grew by 507 in the past 24 hours![]() August 21, 2021 - 12:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 507 to reach 237,249 on Saturday, August 21 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. Fresh figures also revealed that 283 more people recovered, while five patients died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. A total of 7629 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said. So far, 224,019 people have recovered, 4737 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1143 others carrying the virus have died from other causes. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
