Video: Security guards shove journalists out of Armenian parliament![]() August 25, 2021 - 15:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The security guards of the Armenian National Assembly pushed and shoved journalists out of the chamber intended for their work in the parliament on Wednesday, August 25. Footage published online shows the glass chamber where correspondents of various publications were filming a scuffle among lawmakers. People in military uniforms then demanded that journalists leave their place of work, and when they refused to do so, pushed them out of the room. Earlier on Wednesday, lawmakers staged a scuffle in the Armenian National Assembly. The members of parliament were filmed throwing bottles and cups at each other and trading insults, one day after the session was interrupted by a similar incident sparked by the removal of an opposition lawmaker. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
