1000 social businesses to be established in KarabakhAugust 31, 2021 - 13:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 1000 social businesses will be established in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to promote entrepreneurship and improve the quality of life of the citizens, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia reports. 1000 families from Armenia and the Diaspora will be involved in the project, with Hayastan All-Armenian Fund set to help 100 of them create greenhouses. The Armenian General Benevolent Union and a number of other organizations and individuals too will join the initiative. Within the program, Armenia's Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan visited Artsakh and delivered remarks at an event organized for the participants of the program, which he said will help the residents of Artsakh to acquire social business skills. According to him, the best business ideas will receive funding. The Minister also revealed that a social business hub will be established at the Artsakh State University.
