Karabakh President, Russian envoy meet in Yerevan![]() September 7, 2021 - 16:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan on Monday, September 6 met with Russia's Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Khovayev in Yerevan. Harutyunyan stressed that Artsakh remains committed to continuing the negotiation process within the OSCE Minsk Group. Various issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, including the possibility of the Co-Chairs' visit to the region were discussed during the meeting. The Karabakh President also appreciated the mission of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the region. Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan and other officials took part in the meeting as well. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
