Lifter Margarita Arakelyan wins Armenia's 7th gold at European Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - Weightlifter Margarita Arakelyan on Friday, October 1 won Armenia's seventh gold medal at the European Junior & U23 Championships, currently underway in Finland.

Arakelyan lifted a total of 202kg abve her head to become the European champion in her category.

Also Friday, Karen Avagyan, also representing Armenia, won the country's sixth gold at the tournament.
