Top Armenian, Russian clerics talk Karabakh in Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill discussed the process of achieving peace in Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday, October 12, the Russian Orthodox Church says in a statement.

"During the conversation, a number of topical issues were also discussed, including the peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh," the statement reads.

Earlier, the Mother See of Echmiadzin reported that the Catholicos of All Armenians would leave for Moscow on a two-day visit on October 11 and meet with Patriarch Kirill. At the same time, the Azerbaijani media claimed that a trilateral meeting of Karekin II, Kirill and the head of the Caucasus Muslims Allahshukur Pashazade will be held in the Russian capital.
