NSS: Karabakh man throws explosive in response to Azeri provocation

PanARMENIAN.Net - A resident of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) threw an explosive device at a checkpoint near Shushi in response to the provocations of Azerbaijani servicemen on Saturday, November 13, the Nagorno-Karabakh National Security Service said in a statement.

It was reported earlier that a key road connecting Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) has reopened after it was closed because of an "incident between the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides".

"The law enforcement bodies of Artsakh, together with the Russian peacekeeping contingent, are taking measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident," the statement said.

The Azerbaijani side said later that three of their soldiers were injured in the incident.
