Charges filed against five recently repatriated PoWs in Armenia![]() December 10, 2021 - 10:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Charges have been filed against five out of 10 Armenian prisoners of war who returned to Armenia on December 4, and a petition for their arrest has been submitted to the court, Investigative Committee spokesperson Vardan Tadevosyan said Thursday, December 9. According to him, the servicemen were charged under article 365 –violation of the rules of combat duty or military service, which led to serious consequences. On December 4, with the mediation of the Russian side, Azerbaijan returned to Armenia 10 soldiers who were captured during hostilities on November in the south of the country. During a press conference on November 23, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said criminal cases had been launched and stressed the need for clarifying the circumstances of each case of captivity. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
