As the citizens of Kars were waiting for the border gates of the Doğukapı freight station near the Turkey-Armenia border to open, they discovered that an Israeli company had been clearing mines. Mine clearance works in the countryside of the village of Ibiş in Kars have allegedly been ongoing for about 20 days.
