 EU Parliament to debate humanitarian situation in Karabakh January 14, 2023 - 13:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Parliament will hold a debate on the "Humanitarian consequences of the blockade in Nagorno-Karabakh", according to information published on the parliament’s website. Slated for January 18, resolutions on topical subjects are set to be adopted. Since December 12, the sole road connecting Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia - the Lachin Corridor - has been blocked by self-described Azerbaijani environmentalists. Karabakh residents have reported food and fuel shortages, while hospital patients don't have access to essential medicines, with only a handful allowed transfer to facilities in Armenia proper.
