Armenia warms against fake news amid rising tensions

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reports that a number of foreign Telegram channels with a large number of followers have been spreading false information on behalf of the Ministry of Defense.

"The Ministry of Defense once again urges media partners (including foreign media) to follow the official website of the Ministry of Defense and its official pages on social networks," the Ministry said.

Over the past few days, footage has circulated across Azerbaijani social media appearing to show increased movement of Azerbaijani troops around Nagorno-Karabakh and along the border with Armenia.
