EU says reinforces patrols on Armenian-Azerbaijani border![]() September 21, 2023 - 13:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union Mission has reinforced patrols at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border areas and the line of confrontation, also near the town Sotk village – where the Azerbaijani military opened fire on Wednesday, September 20 – to report on any military and security developments on the ground. “We reiterate our commitment to the mandate and to contributing to stabilising the situation,” the EUMA said in a tweet on Thursday morning. The communication comes a day after the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh agreed to all of Azerbaijan’s conditions, including the dissolution of the Defense Army. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
