Georgian opposition threatens to block all Georgian border control points

PanARMENIAN.Net - Opposition participants threaten to block all Georgian border control points unless Michail Saakashvili retires before May 11.



"We'll bring our apologies to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other countries which won't be able to effect a transit through Georgia," said one of opposition leaders, Gubaz Sanikidze at Monday rally in front of Tbilisi Parliament House.



He reminded that on May 5, a warning hour-long rally will be held. Tbilisi's central highway will be blocked for 1 hour.



"72-hour ultimatum will be submitted to Saakashvili on May 8. In case its ignored, highways throughout Georgia will be blocked," Interfax cited Sanikidze as saying.
