"We are already cooperating with NATO, we are taking part in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan, increasing our presence in Kosovo. This is a format of cooperation,” Mirzoyan said in an interview with Argentina’s Todo Noticias. Mirzoyan added, however, that Armenia is Europe-oriented. “I would like to remember Prime Minster [Nikol Pashinyan’s] recent speech at the European Parliament. He said that Armenia is ready to be closer to the European Union as much as the European Union wants to be closer to Armenia," the top diplomat noted. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said earlier that Russia is concerned over an Armenia-EU-US meeting scheduled for April 5. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
