Checkpoint on Turkish border ready for third-country nationals - Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Margara checkpoint on the Armenian-Turkish border is ready to serve third-country nationals and persons holding diplomatic passports, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia Rustam Badasyan told a briefing on Thursday, August 1.

“The Margara checkpoint has long been ready to serve citizens of third countries and persons holding diplomatic passports,” Badasyan said.

When asked when the checkpoint would serve these citizens, Badasyan replied: “I don’t know, there must be a political decision.”

Armenia and Turkey have agreed to open the border between the two countries to citizens of third countries and persons holding diplomatic passports.
