Armenia appoints new envoys to Austria, France, Europe, UN![]() October 26, 2024 - 12:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Vahagn Khachaturyan has signed decrees appointing Ambassadors to Austria, France, Representatives to the Council of Europe, UN Offices in Vienna and Geneva, the Public Radio reports. Armen Papikyan has been recalled from his post of Armenia’s Ambassador to Austria and Slovakia, Head of Mission to the OSCE, Permanent Representative to UN Office in Vienna and other international organization and has been appointed Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe (seat in Strasbourg). Hasmik Tolmajian has been recalled from the post of Armenia’s Ambassador to France and appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations (seat in Geneva). Arman Khachatryan has been recalled from the post of Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe and appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France (seat in Paris). Andranik Hovhannisyan has been recalled from the post of Armenia’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confarreation, Permanent Representative to UN Office in Geneva and other international organizations and has been appointed Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
