He also noted that the Armenian army was established under challenging conditions, relying on the foundations of national unity, resilience, and patriotism. “Today, we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the army’s formation with pride, recalling the path our armed forces have traversed. This day is not just a holiday but also an opportunity to appreciate the army's role in defending the country and establishing an independent statehood. The Armenian Armed Forces are the guarantors of the country’s independence, security, and peace. Today, our soldiers and officers continue this vital mission with great responsibility and dedication, defending borders and ensuring the country's security, ready at any moment to safeguard the tranquility of the Republic of Armenia. We also gratefully remember the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of Armenia,” the message reads. The president added that their heroic deeds will forever remain in our hearts and inspire new generations. “The development and modernization of Armenia’s army remain among the state’s top priorities. We are consistently working to enhance the combat readiness of the armed forces, improve the social conditions of servicemen, and upgrade military equipment. Dear servicemen, your dedication and courage are invaluable. I am confident that together—with the combined efforts of the state, society, and armed forces—we can overcome all challenges and build a peaceful and secure future. Once again, I congratulate all of us on this significant occasion. I wish peace, unity, and new successes on the path to our country’s prosperity.
