Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, on an official visit to Italy, participated in hearings of the Italian Senate's Committee on EU Policies, dedicated to Armenia.

In his speech, Simonyan elaborated on Armenia’s stance on several key issues and responded to questions from Italian parliamentarians, according to the Armenian Parliament’s press service.

Discussions focused on the peace treaty, Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace initiative, European integration, democratic reforms, and the repatriation of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan.
