Armenia, India explore deeper defense cooperation![]() March 7, 2025 - 18:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, and the country’s Defense Attaché, Colonel Arkadi Tonoyan, met with Vishwesh Negi, Joint Secretary for International Cooperation at India’s Ministry of Defense, to discuss opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, Armenia’s Embassy in India reports. The meeting covered the implementation of agreements reached during discussions between the defense ministers of both countries, the organization of reciprocal visits, ensuring the continuity of defense consultations, and the further development of bilateral defense cooperation. Regional developments were also addressed, with a particular emphasis on Armenia’s commitment to a peace agenda and the prospects for strengthening friendly bilateral relations.
