Mayor candidate: Gyumri under total control, reminiscent of 1937

PanARMENIAN.Net - Martun Grigoryan, a candidate for mayor in Gyumri's upcoming elections, has alleged that the city is experiencing an atmosphere reminiscent of 1937, characterized by fear and total control.

He asserts that individuals who earn their daily bread through honest work are being intimidated. According to Grigoryan, there are threats that those who engage with his campaign materials, even by simply liking them, risk losing their jobs or salaries. He urges citizens to think critically, suggesting that if the country deteriorates, so will their livelihoods. Grigoryan advises complying with demands for support lists but emphasizes that voters should follow their conscience when casting their ballots.

Previously, it was reported that one of the forces participating in Gyumri's extraordinary council elections was deprived of the opportunity to use campaign billboards. The Gyumri council elections are scheduled for March 30.
