Baku shares shooting data with Yerevan, says PM's office

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has provided Azerbaijan with information regarding ceasefire violations, according to the Armenian Prime Minister's Office, as reported by http://Factor.am .

Simultaneously, the department noted that Baku has also submitted relevant information to Yerevan concerning violations of the ceasefire regime.

"The Armenian side has investigated the information and has forwarded a report on the investigation results to the Azerbaijani side," stated the Prime Minister's Office.

However, the office did not clarify whether the information from Baku pertained to its own violations or alleged violations by the Armenian side.

Since March 14, when it was announced that the parties had agreed on the text of a peace treaty, the Azerbaijani side has consistently and almost daily accused the Armenian Armed Forces of firing towards its positions. The Armenian Ministry of Defense has denied all such reports, labeling them as misinformation, and has reminded that Armenia proposed the establishment of a joint mechanism to record ceasefire violations, which Azerbaijan has not accepted.

Recently, the Azerbaijani side has repeatedly targeted the villages of Khoznavar and Khnatsakh in Armenia's Syunik Province. The Armenian Ministry of Defense has published photographs showing homes and community buildings damaged by Azerbaijani gunfire.
