Аctivist files complaint against parliament deputy speaker

PanARMENIAN.Net - Public and political activist Edgar Ghazaryan announced on his Facebook page that he has filed a report to the Prosecutor General against National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan, citing “discriminatory аttitude.”

“On May 12, during a citizen reception held by NA Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan, I was the only one denied a meeting. Today I submitted a report to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan,” Ghazaryan wrote.

He stated that Rubinyan’s actions may constitute an alleged offense under Article 203, Part 2 of Armenia’s Criminal Code—discrimination against a person based on worldview, political, or other opinions.

Previously, Ghazaryan reported that he had registered in advance to meet with Rubinyan on May 12 to discuss a possible no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

On April 28, letters were individually delivered to all National Assembly deputies on behalf of the "We Are Awake" movement, proposing they initiate impeachment proceedings against Pashinyan within ten days.
