Аnti-Corruption chief: asset seizures rising in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee Artur Nahapetyan reported that approximately AMD 5 billion in damages to the state were recovered during the first four months of 2025. This figure exceeds the total amount of damage recorded for all of 2024.

Referring to last year’s figures, Nahapetyan noted that the amount recovered in 2024 stood at roughly AMD 477 million, and this reflected actual cash returns, according to 1lurer.am .

“We have many movable and immovable assets under seizure, and naturally, these assets are not included in the above total. If these lead to convictions in court, the actual volume of recovered damage will be even higher than the mentioned AMD 477 million,” he added.
