11 arrested in Shengavit district bribery case![]() May 15, 2025 - 15:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Eleven individuals, including current and former employees of the Shengavit administrative district, have been arrested on charges of accepting and offering bribes, the Anti-Corruption Committee has confirmed. The spokesperson for the Yerevan Mayor, Hayk Kostanyan, shared this information on his Facebook page. “I confirmed this news myself and noted that only one of the detainees was a current employee,” Kostanyan wrote. He further clarified that the mentioned employee had been dismissed from their position back in April. “At this moment, there are no current Shengavit administrative employees among those detained,” the statement emphasized. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
