Armenia, Netherlands talk democracy, economy, EU ties![]() May 17, 2025 - 14:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During a meeting in Tirana, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Hendrikus Wilhelmus Maria Schouten. They discussed intensifying political dialogue, expanding economic cooperation, and the importance of collaboration in democratic processes. Pashinyan emphasized the continued development and strengthening of friendly relations based on mutual respect between Armenia and the Netherlands. The two leaders also exchanged views on Armenia-European Union relations and the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. Pashinyan presented the Crossroads of Peace initiative, highlighting its potential role in promoting regional stability and cooperation. The Armenian and Dutch leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing dialogue and to deepening joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest. Prime Minister Pashinyan participated in the sixth regular summit of the European Political Community in Albania. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
