Argentine midfielder Adoryan joins Armenia national team

PanARMENIAN.Net - Thomas Adoryan, a midfielder for Argentina’s Club Atlético Banfield, has been called up to the Armenian national football team. The announcement was made via Banfield’s official channels.

Adoryan, born on September 22, 2001, in San Pedro, Argentina, is a product of Banfield’s academy. He also holds Armenian citizenship. In the current Argentine league season, he has made 11 appearances and scored one goal. Prior to rejoining Banfield in 2025, he played for Uruguay’s Rampla Juniors, where he had 32 appearances, netted three goals, and provided five assists during the 2024 season.

According to Transfermarkt, Adoryan’s market value is estimated at €400,000.

Armenia’s national team is scheduled to play two friendly matches in June: against Kosovo on June 6 and Montenegro on June 9, both away games.
