Russian FM to visit Armenia on May 20–21![]() May 19, 2025 - 15:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Armenia on May 20–21, according to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his stay, Lavrov is set to hold extensive talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. He will also meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vahagn Khachaturyan. Lavrov is expected to visit the Tsitsernakaberd memorial as part of his itinerary. Additionally, the Russian minister will address faculty, students, and experts at the Russian-Armenian University, representing branches of Russian universities. He will also meet with Russian compatriots at the Russian House. “Moscow expects the visit to strengthen political and interagency dialogue between Russia and Armenia, increase mutual understanding, and help find mutually acceptable solutions to issues of interest to both sides,” the Russian MFA stated. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
