Aliyev says Armenia likely to accept peace terms

PanARMENIAN.Net - During a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan initiated the peace treaty proposal with Armenia and immediately presented two conditions.

"Baku has two main conditions for signing a peace treaty, which Armenia has not yet accepted," Aliyev noted, according to Minval.az .

"However, these conditions will likely be accepted, since we are not presenting any extraordinary demands," he added.

Previously, during a joint press appearance with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Aliyev stated that Azerbaijan’s demands to Armenia were well known: the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and changes to Armenia’s Constitution, which he claimed contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
