Armenia lifts visa requirement for Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman![]() May 22, 2025 - 16:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian government has approved a decision allowing citizens of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Oman to enter Armenia without a visa. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance Armenia’s international accessibility and attract foreign investment, said Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a cabinet meeting. Additionally, visa-free entry is granted to foreign nationals who hold valid residency in the United States, European Union member states, Schengen Area countries, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, or Oman. “This policy change is economically motivated and aims to ease travel to Armenia while boosting the country's investment appeal,” Mirzoyan explained. Under the new rules, citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman can visit and stay in Armenia for up to 180 days per year without the need to obtain a visa. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
