Kocharyan's Mykonos property targeted for asset recovery

PanARMENIAN.Net - Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, announced on Facebook that the Prosecutor’s Office is seeking to confiscate a villa located in the Ano Mera area of Greece’s Mykonos island from Sedrak Kocharyan, son of Armenia’s second president. The property is reportedly valued at nearly 1.3 billion AMD.

Chakhoyan also published a photo of the island, noting, “Kocharyan, who once arrived in Armenia wearing a torn shirt, is now the co-owner of a 600-square-meter villa built on a 6,200-square-meter plot on a Greek island.”

He emphasized that the Kocharyan family has acquired part ownership of this expansive estate in one of Mykonos’ well-known locations.
