Armenian museum directors to visit U.S.![]() May 23, 2025 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nine directors of Armenian museums will participate in the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program titled “Promoting Excellence in Cultural Institution Management” from May 27 to June 7. The initiative is made possible through the joint efforts of the U.S. Embassy and the Foundation for the Development of Culture, according to Panorama.am . The visit will include meetings and tours of cultural institutions and government agencies in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), and Tulsa (Oklahoma). The main goal is to facilitate experience sharing and build bilateral and multilateral partnerships for future projects. Participants from Armenia include directors from the National Gallery of Armenia, the Sergei Parajanov Museum, the Yeghishe Charents House-Museum, the Avetik Isahakyan House-Museum, the Khachatur Abovian House-Museum, the Martiros Saryan House-Museum, the Sardarapat Memorial Complex and Museum of Armenian Ethnography and National Liberation Struggle History, and the Aram Khachaturian House-Museum, as well as the deputy director of the Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Museum-Reservations. “This program is a unique opportunity for Armenian museum directors to explore modern cultural management practices, expand their networks, and promote Armenian cultural heritage internationally.
