Security Council head: Armenia ready to dissolve OSCE Minsk Group![]() May 29, 2025 - 18:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan told reporters that Armenia is ready to sign the application for the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group on the same day as the peace treaty with Azerbaijan. He confirmed that Armenia is continuing discussions with Azerbaijan through diplomatic channels to finalize the peace agreement, according to Aysor.am . “The text of the peace treaty is finalized; all that remains is to sign it,” Grigoryan stated. When asked what obstacles remain to signing the agreement, he replied, “As for the Constitution—you already know Armenia’s position.” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had earlier stated that Armenia must meet two conditions before signing the peace agreement: amending its Constitution and consenting to the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
