The man, born in 1958, could not be saved, reported Mariam Tsatryan, spokesperson for the Minister of Health, according to 1lurer.am . “The other two injured remain under medical supervision and are in moderate condition. Of the seven patients taken to a Chambarak hospital, three have been discharged, and four are still under observation,” Tsatryan said. Earlier reports indicated that a fire broke out following an explosion in an apartment of a building in Chambarak. Preliminary information suggests that apartments on the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd floors collapsed, and some apartments in a neighboring entrance were partially damaged. The Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case regarding the Chambarak explosion. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
