One of three Chambarak blast victims dies in hospital

PanARMENIAN.Net - One of the three victims transferred to a Yerevan medical center after the explosion in Chambarak has died. The man, born in 1958, could not be saved, reported Mariam Tsatryan, spokesperson for the Minister of Health, according to 1lurer.am .

“The other two injured remain under medical supervision and are in moderate condition. Of the seven patients taken to a Chambarak hospital, three have been discharged, and four are still under observation,” Tsatryan said.

Earlier reports indicated that a fire broke out following an explosion in an apartment of a building in Chambarak. Preliminary information suggests that apartments on the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd floors collapsed, and some apartments in a neighboring entrance were partially damaged. The Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case regarding the Chambarak explosion.
