Israel restricts movement, urges caution after Iran strike

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israeli authorities have advised citizens to leave their homes only in cases of extreme necessity, according to Artyom Chernamoryan, President of the Union of Armenians in Israel, reports Factor.am .

He stated that most streets are nearly empty.

“Authorities are urging people to go out only to buy bread and water. However, some working in essential services have reported to duty,” Chernamoryan noted.

He added that evacuations from hotels have also begun. According to him, the current situation remains highly tense.

Tensions across the region have sharply escalated following Israeli airstrikes on Iran. As a result, several flights to Israel, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates have been canceled or delayed.

Earlier, Israeli Air Force jets struck at least six military bases near Tehran. Iranian state media reported that strikes also hit residential areas in the capital and other cities. The headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran was also reportedly targeted. Iran’s General Staff announced that Israel’s actions would be met with a devastating response.
