  Foreign ministers discuss evacuation of Indian students via Armenia June 17, 2025 - 17:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and India’s Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar have discussed the possibility of evacuating Indian students from Iran through Armenia. The statement was made by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by 1lurer.am . “Armenia has provided the necessary support,” Badalyan said. *Due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, India has begun relocating its citizens from high-risk areas in Iran and is actively evaluating evacuation options. Armenia has been identified as a possible transit route.
