Iran’s leader threatens harsh response to U.S. interference

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has issued a strong response to statements by U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring that Iran will deliver a “harsh response” to any military interference by Washington regarding Israel, and stressing that “the Iranian people will not surrender,” Tasnim News reported.

“Those who are wise and know our country, its people, and its history never use the language of threats toward Iran, because the Iranian nation will not yield,” Khamenei said. “The Americans must clearly understand that any U.S. military intervention in the conflict will undoubtedly result in irreversible harm to themselves.”

His statement came in reaction to what Khamenei called “nonsensical comments” by President Trump, who earlier demanded Tehran’s “immediate submission,” according to TASS.

“The Iranian people will firmly resist both imposed war and imposed peace,” the Supreme Leader added.

Previously, Trump had called on Iran’s leadership to surrender, directly addressing Khamenei and claiming the U.S. “knows where he is hiding,” while warning that his “patience is running out.”

On the night of June 13, Israel launched military operations against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. Within hours, Iran responded with counterstrikes. In the following days, both countries continued to exchange attacks. Each side has reported casualties and confirmed hits on various military targets.
