EU, Armenia talk Iran crisis evacuation paths

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke with European Commission Vice President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas to discuss the regional situation, including developments related to Iran.

The two addressed the possibility of evacuating third-country nationals from Iranian territory via Armenia, considering ongoing humanitarian concerns.

They also exchanged views on steps aimed at preserving regional stability and reviewed recent stages in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Mirzoyan and Kallas discussed upcoming bilateral contacts and EU-Armenia cooperation programs planned for the near future.

India has evacuated 110 Indian students from Iran via Armenia, transporting them by land to Yerevan, then by a special flight to New Delhi. China and France are also considering this option.
