Welcoming Geladze’s visit and congratulating him on his appointment, Pashinyan voiced hope that cooperation between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries would become more active and effective during his tenure. He assured that the Armenian government would exert every effort toward that goal. Geladze thanked the Prime Minister for the reception and conveyed warm greetings from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. He underscored the historic friendship and close cooperation between Georgia and Armenia. He emphasized the significance of strong bilateral ties in ensuring peace and stability in the region. During the meeting, details were presented from bilateral talks between the interior ministers of Armenia and Georgia. The discussion centered on strengthening collaboration, particularly in migration management and joint measures against crime and the illicit drug trade.
