Radiation monitoring station installed in Syunik![]() June 24, 2025 - 12:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A radiation monitoring station has been installed in Armenia’s Syunik Province by specialists from the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee and the “Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety” CJSC. This is part of the Early Warning Radiation Monitoring System initiative. The station operates continuously, monitoring environmental gamma radiation levels around the clock. Measurement results will be updated regularly. According to the Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee, data from the newly installed station confirm that there has been no change in the environmental gamma radiation background. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
