Courts overloaded with non-justice duties, says deputy PM![]() June 24, 2025 - 17:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - During a discussion within the EU-Armenia Civil Society Platform, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated that the country’s judicial system is currently burdened with processes that have no direct connection to delivering justice, Panorama.am reports. According to Grigoryan, this situation has developed over many years. He emphasized that efforts are underway to address these accumulated issues with the goal of transforming judicial bodies into institutions that truly administer justice, rather than merely servicing procedural formalities. “This is a rather complex process,” Grigoryan noted. He added that the system is artificially overloaded, which in turn creates additional problems. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
