Vardanian faces fabricated charges in Baku court

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan’s Baku military court held another hearing on June 24 in the sham trial of former Artsakh state minister Ruben Vardanian.

Testifying before Judge Zeynal Aghaev, alongside Judges Anar Rzaev and Jamal Ramazanov (reserve judge Gunel Samedova), the so‑called “victims” recounted alleged injuries or deaths of relatives during military operations in Nagorno‑Karabakh. Vardanian was provided with a Russian interpreter and a lawyer of his choice, according to Minval.az . Court proceedings also included the presentation of forensic medical reports on the plaintiffs.

The next hearing is scheduled for July 1.
