Armenia approves EAEU trade deals with Mongolia and UAE![]() June 26, 2025 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s government has approved the Eurasian Economic Union's (EAEU) trade agreements with Mongolia and the United Arab Emirates. The first agreement involves the EAEU and Mongolia, while the second pertains to the EAEU and the UAE. These documents were adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission’s board on May 14. The agreements aim to liberalize and simplify trade in goods between the parties. This includes reducing tariff and non-tariff barriers, promoting economic and trade cooperation, and encouraging the expansion and diversification of trade between the parties. The implementation of these agreements will create opportunities to expand trade between the signatories, boost export volumes, and enhance the competitiveness of EAEU member states’ products in both Mongolian and Arab markets. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision.
