Andranik Simonyan appointed head of Armenia's NSS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decree appointing Andranik Simonyan as the new director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia.

The official decision states: “Guided by Article 9, Part 5 of the Law on Public Service and Article 4.1, Part 2 of the Law on National Security Bodies, Andranik Simonyan is appointed as Director of the National Security Service.”

In a separate decree, Prime Minister Pashinyan relieved Andranik Simonyan of his previous duties as Deputy Director of the NSS.
