On June 30, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, announced in Yerevan the conclusion of negotiations on a new, ambitious partnership agenda between Armenia and the EU, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A joint vision for deeper partnership The new agenda outlines a vision for deeper, more resilient, and diversified cooperation. It seeks to fully implement the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), directing efforts to reinforce Armenia's resilience, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and sustainable development. Armenia will continue close collaboration with the EU to promote a secure, prosperous, and democratic future and to contribute to peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Next steps Following the end of negotiations, the finalized agenda text will undergo respective internal procedures in both Armenia and the EU.
